Inspiration Station

I find all of these photographs inspiring. I guess I look for something that makes me feel something, not just something that looks pretty (although there’s a place for that too). All these photographs make me feel: hope, happy, courageous, sad, angry (see boy with gun) and all of those things were the result of so many choices the photographers make. The gerbil picture brought up some nostalgia of elementary school when my best friend Alexis killed a class pet by accident. So, it seems that you can always count on bringing your experiences, memories, and emotions to the photographs you encounter, changing the experiance of your perception of them to begin with.
